Always known in the region around Erxleben as Haldenslebener Recycling- und Umweltdienst GmbH, it was taken over by the STORK Group in 2016 and has been part of the STORK family ever since. This familiarity also explains the HRU green in the blue and white world of the Stork Group. In addition to the usual and consistent services, such as the small waste collection point, yard handling and construction machinery brokerage, the Riesengrund landfill and the open-cast mine with its own gravel pit for natural sand and gravel are also an essential part of the site.

With 23 employees, HRU has developed into an important employer in the region and also trains apprentices.
